Position Overview:

Maaco is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will report into the Director of Field Marketing. The successful candidate will become part of a truly collaborative team where new ideas are always welcomed and encouraged.  With over 450 franchise partners across North America, this is a fast paced position which will demand that you bring energy, execution, and your “A” game to work each day. You will be responsible for deployment and daily management of marketing, advertising and media planning at the national, regional, and local levels, to drive sales and bring more cars to the door for Maaco franchise partners.

Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Work directly with Maaco franchise owners, both single store and multi-store owners to assist with local level marketing initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations for local level marketing and events.
  • Build and execute local media plans for multiple DMAs/Regions across the franchise system.
  • Hold one-on-one communications with DMAs/Regions and franchisees across system.
  • Develop relationships across franchise system to gain support and trust.
  • Work with leadership on innovative new ideas and strategies to improve the Maaco brand.
  • Work and assist agency partners to manage marketing and promotional campaigns across digital media channels, TV, radio, print and mobile.
  • Understand weekly and monthly sales data that relate to the business and how you can move the needle with marketing.
  • Work closely across departments to ensure all parties have appropriate information on marketing and media plans.
  • Work across all departments to provide recommendations or adjustments to maintain strong sales growth opportunities.

 

Communications

 

  • Provide day-to-day support to ensure the effective execution and delivery of communication to stores and across departments.
  • Copy-editing and proofreading of all marketing materials and communication.
  • Experience in utilizing social media to create brand awareness, engage clients, and facilitate public education and awareness.

 

Creative Eye

  • The ability to update simple graphics
  • Have a keen eye for what “looks good” in presentations, in marketing materials, and on social media accounts.

Digital Marketing

  • Monitor online accounts, update store hours and simple data on (Google My Business, Yelp, Yext, etc.)
  • Work with vendors to manage corporate SEM, SEO efforts and paid media efforts.
  • Provide quarterly digital marketing reports to stores and DMA’s/Regions on their successes

Measurement and Analytics

  • Work with analytics team to monitor sales and bring ideas in how to continue moving the needle forward
  • Work with operations coaches to provide any necessary data or tools to improve performance on a local level

 

Agency Management

  • Work with agency partners and provide local market input and direction to drive marketing, media and promotional plans that will meet or exceed franchise sales goals
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to agency partners on Maaco franchise, products and services

 

New Openings/Resales

  • This person will be a pivotal to driving flawless execution and effective grand opening and resales stores joining the Maaco system.
  • You will need to understand budgets and how to execute plans to be most effective.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of current digital listings, providing direction for their transition into Maaco, and working with agencies to present a grand opening strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, or public relations/communications
  • Minimum of one to three (1 - 3) years of experience working in marketing/digital marketing
  • Strong working knowledge of communication principles and practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations to franchisees
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor a marketing strategy
  • Collaborative working style to interface with marketing team and vendor partners
  • Strong alignment with Maaco's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Self-starter that excels in a performance driven environment is detailed oriented and has the ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills (Office product suite)
  • Proficient problem-solving skills

*Salary range: $50,000.00-55,000.00/USD/Yr. plus 10% annual bonus target
