Purpose of Job:

Manages and leads a team and directly supports sites that provides great facilities capable of meeting or exceeding each customer’s expectations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations for a remote based field technician team utilizing maintenance management platform
  • Provides coaching and development opportunities to subordinates to grow in the organization
  • Maintains adequate staffing levels for tech team within area
  • Perform machine/site repairs as needed in a timely way on assigned sites
  • Regularly reports to RMM on team and tech performance providing information
  • Minimizes downtime due to equipment failure or site issues
  • Ensures team completes all repairs in a timely way deploying or redirecting techs as appropriate
  • Approves work requests and assigns to techs
  • Ensures parts program is executed as designed and parts available for timely repairs
  • Audits tech vehicles for proper stock and upkeep
  • Track expenses and ensure budget targets are met
  • Identify and recommend capital improvements to sites and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities
  • Ensures team adheres to the safety policies and procedures
  • Evaluates repair cost estimates and provide recommendations
  • Document and prepare progress reports for performance vs budget and productivity team

 

Key Relationships

  • Cross functional leadership within department, specifically Integration team
  • Leadership in key functional areas: Operations, Construction, IT, HR, Finance
  • External vendor partner relationships

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Ability to manage multiple activities within strict deadlines
  • Ability to work transparently
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment and effectively execute multiple priorities
