The Procurement segment of DrivenBrands is focused on delivering EBITDA through a combination of vendor rebates on corporate and franchisee spend, margin on product sales to franchisees and third parties, and cost savings to corporate-owned retail locations. As the Senior Manager for Strategic Procurement in the Car Wash segment, this role will be responsible for, among other things: identifying and sizing procurement-related opportunities in Car Wash, developing and scaling pilot programs in partnership with vendor or internal partners, improving purchasing processes and identifying technology gaps and solutions, and increase Procurement spend under management. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Category Management and will have significant exposure to the Executive Team at Driven Brands.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing opportunities to increase DrivenBrands EBITDA related to purchasing and franchisee/3rd party sales in direct and indirect categories
  • Identifying and scaling programs in the Car Wash segment in categories, such as chemicals, equimpent and supplies to increase vendor rebates, or savings at corporately-owned locations. These programs may be in partnership with strategic vendors and/or internal partners
  • Determining capabilities improvements and investments required to further grow Procurement spend under management
  • Partnering internally with Car Wash executives and personnel to ensure new construction needs are met and partnering with vendors on potential new equipment or design changes

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 3 years experience in consulting or strategic sourcing, exposure to retail, services or automotive preferred
  • Experience in designing and implementing sales or cost reduction programs beginning with data analyses
  • Strong analytical, logical structuring, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to turn data on internal spend/sales, external market analyses into actionable insights
  • Self-starter that excels in a performance driven environment
  • Strong skills with Office products suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel required; experience with BI tools/databases is a major plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate/present to executive-level leaders
  • Up to 25% travel
